December 10, 2007
Dear Valued Sybase Customer,
This notification is a supplemental notice for EP Enterprise Edition, EP Information Edition, and EP Component for the End of Life Notices issued on May 30, 2007, June 1, 2007 and August 16, 2007.
The prior Notices announced the end of engineering support for Enterprise Portal Components and Products without migration paths, effective May 30, 2008 and August 16, 2008. Several products that were listed do, in fact, have migration paths and were incorrectly posted. We regret any inconvenience. This letter provides notification of the end of engineering support for the following versions of Sybase product(s) and their correct migration paths.

Sybase encourages you to begin migration plans as soon as possible to upgrade your software before the end of engineering support to the supported version identified in the "Migration Path" column as shown in the table above.
For customers having a current Support Agreement who have elected not to migrate to a supported release by the end of engineering support, continued limited technical support assistance will be made available, subject to the availability of resources. This limited assistance after the end of engineering support consists of providing existing interim releases (i.e., updates, if any, developed for the product prior to the end of engineering support), telephone and electronic assistance, and migration advice to customers upgrading to Sybase supported products. It does not include engineering support, new bug fixes or integration of any bug fixes into previous updates.
If you have any questions, please call your local Sybase Technical Support Center. One of our Customer Service representatives will respond to your questions or direct your call to someone who can assist you. For the number of your closest Technical Support Center, please go to: www.sybase.com/contactus/support.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dimitri Volkmann
