How do I access the partner-only resources in the Partner Resource Center?

To access all the partner-specific benefits available to you throughout Sybase.com, including the Partner Resource Center, you must first set up a MySybase account. A MySybase account validates who you are, authorizes your access to certain information based on your role, and personalizes the content that you will see.

Set Up For New Users

  • Have your Customer Number available (For help, call 1-800-8-SYBASE, Option 1, Option 2—or email partner_response@sybase.com and provide your name, phone number, company name, and email address).
  • Go to http://my.sybase.com
  • Click the Register Now button to create your MySybase account
  • Follow these instructions.

Set Up For Users who already have a MySybase Account - If you already have a MySybase account, make sure that you have defined your role as a partner. This way, you will be authorized to access partner-specific sections of Sybase.com.

  • Have your Customer Number available (For help, call 1-800-8-SYBASE, Option 1, Option 2—or email partner_response@sybase.com and provide your name, phone number, company name, and email address).
  • Follow these instructions.

Create a MySybase Account

Visit http://my.sybase.com.

New users, click the Register Now button to create your MySybase account.

New users, choose your account login information. The secret question is used to validate your identity if you lose your password.

  • Enter your name and email address.

    PLEASE NOTE: Your email address and last name must match the contact information entered into the Partnerbase system by your account manager.

  • Next, add your account roles. Roles provide additional content beyond what the general public can see. Check Partner and click on Create Sybase Account. You will now be asked to validate your partner information.

    • Enter your Email Address
    • Enter your Sybase Customer Number in the Partner ID and Partner Password field.
    • Click Validate My Roles. The system will verify your partnership status with our internal database.

    For help: Call 1-800-8-SYBASE, (option 1, then 2) or email partner_response@sybase.com and be ready with your name, phone number, company name and email address.

    Done! You can now visit sybase.com/partner and access all of the partner-only resources.


    Adding a Partner Role to Your Existing MySybase Account

    Visit my.sybase.com and login to your account

  • Click Account / Roles under the tabs
  • Click Add New Role
    • Enter your Email Address
    • Enter your Sybase Customer Number in the Partner ID and Partner Password field.
    • Click Validate My Roles.

    Done! You can now visit sybase.com/partner and access all of the partner-only resources.
