Mirror Activator for EMC SRDF and MirrorView/S
Mirror Activator is a business continuity and disaster recovery solution that enhances EMC SRDF or MirrorView/S with database replication methods. Together, EMC and Sybase can minimize database downtime for business-critical applications by providing a continuously available active secondary database while ensuring zero data loss.
Mirror Activator enhances SRDF or MirrorView/S by providing hot standby (R2) Oracle, or Sybase databases. Mirror Activator reads R2 devices and replicates data to the standby database. Customers benefit from increased data availability and reduced bandwidth, and can leverage hot standby databases for reporting and decision support.
