The Multicast for Afaria Solution Package integrates Sybase iAnywhere’s Afaria and Multicast products. From within the Afaria GUI, the end-user can create and assign Multicast sessions, as well as view the associated logs detailing the status of previous sessions.
This solution package assumes that customers possess significant in-house expertise in Afaria, networking, and remote access technologies, including Multicast. In addition, this solution package assumes internal availability of resources that are sufficiently knowledgeable to develop and document necessary system designs and hardware architecture requirements, as well as manage issues associated with overall system scalability. This solution package requires a Multicast enabled and tested network, Afaria v5.0 or v5.0 SP1, and Multicast.
