Food and Beverage
Continental breakfasts are served in the North Convention Center at 7:00 am Tuesday through Friday. Afternoon snacks are served in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday and Thursday. Beverage breaks are served in various conference locations.

Suggested Dress
Casual attire is suggested for all conference sessions and events (i.e., suits/ties not required). Daytime weather typically is extremely hot and dry. Evenings are cooler. All inside venues are climate controlled.

Badges
Attendees and participants are required to wear conference badges at all times during conference functions. Badges are not transferable. Badges are distributed on site during conference registration.

Parking
Parking is available and complimentary for both self-parking and valet parking.

Business Center and Shipping
Mandalay Bay features a full-service Business Center located on Level 1 of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The Convention Business Center is open 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Phone: (702) 322-5700. All packages/boxes shipped to the hotel will be received at the Convention Business Center. The Business Center charges for handling according to weight. Arrangements can be made to ship anywhere in the United States, Canada and internationally via Federal Express, UPS and regular Unites States Postal Service mail. Attendees are responsible for all shipping charges.

Lost and Found
A "lost and found" box is located at the Sybase TechWave Registration & Information Center. Please stop by if you have lost - or found - an item!

Medical and Other Emergencies
The Security Office is operational 24 hours a day. The 24-hour security hotline number from any in-house telephone is 77911. If calling from an outside source the emergency number is (702) 632-7911.

Security
For your safety and security, only properly registered guests are admitted to Sybase TechWave 2008 events. Conference badges must be worn and be visible during all conference activities. Badges are non-transferable, and a payment of the full conference fee is required for the replacement of a lost badge. Any unattended parcels are subject to immediate confiscation.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted during conference sessions, meals or functions.
