Unwired Enterprise 2.0 Era Begins

TechWave 2007 heralded the beginning of the Unwired Enterprise 2.0, where mobile technology expands to to include the customer's customer and analytics deliver crucial business intelligence where and when it's needed. Sybase executives unveiled key components of the next generation of mobility in their keynote addresses throughout the week-long conference at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. In the Hot Seat
Brad Hazuka, database administrator for SAIC, says the biggest value of TechWave is getting to talk with the engineers and get in-depth knowledge -- things you might not think about when "you're in the hot seat, if you will."

On the Road to the Web
Robert Sleath, a consultant for ACC, came to TechWave bent on PowerBuilder enlightenment. PB 11.0 lays out "a much easier road to the Web," he said.

Great Venue to RAP
Tonya Fritz, global channel manager for Aleri, is working on a RAP initiative with Sybase IQ. TechWave was a great venue for getting smart on RAP.
